studio27art  is the teaching and working studio of Lynne Schulte LaValley. It is located on the second floor of the Scala Art Center in Georgetown, MA. Lynne will be teaching a range of classes, and presenting originals, cards, and prints of her art for sale, and using the sudio for a range of personal art activities. In the future, studio27art hopes to add other artists and classes.The public is invited to drop in any time the Scala Art Center is open. The official "first peek" will be on February 6th at the Artisan and Craft Show. The first classes are scheduled for March of 2010.

Lynne Schulte has presented several solo shows in Kansas, Washington

Vermont, DC, and Massachusetts. Primary among her themes are moving water images stirred by the rocky shores of Maine and Appalachian trail streams; floral works inspired by her gardens, roadsides, and winter florist gleanings; and landscapes of Vermont, Maine and Massachusetts. Lynne takes photographs, creates monotypes and paints in oils, watercolors, and pastels. Her true subject is color and light and life metaphor.  Lynne is a member of the North Shore, Marblehead and Newburyport Art Associations, and is represented by the Fresh Paint Gallery in Yarmouthport, MA. The Scala Art Center  is a new creative endeavor by artists of Georgetown MA and the surrounding areas. We plan to offer opportunities for artists of the area to gather for mutual support and offer classes, exhibits, studio space, lectures, and other programs.
